Small Lot Collection
As Winemaking tastes each individual lot of wine from the myriad of distinct blocks on our Bell Mountain Estate ranch, they discover that certain parts of the vineyard are best as components for limited production blends. These micro blocks are identified and, over time and experimentation, they become part of our Small Lot Collection. These wines are 100% estate-grown, organic, and initially released to our Wine Club Members before being made available online or at our Tasting Room.
Our Starter Pack truly represents what Bell Mountain Ranch can offer. It includes one bottle each of our 2018 Sauvignon Blanc, 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2016 Snakepit Red.
Our 2016 Kate's & B's offers plenty of fruit up front, with blackberry, ripe blueberry, and a hint of raspberry. The fruit is supported by notes of cinnamon and roasted espresso. On the palate the wine is lusciously smooth, with silky tannins, great weight and complexity.
RELEASING TO CLUB IN NOVEMBER
Our 2016 Fifty Tons provides powerful blackberry and black currant aromas with a hint of raspberry. The upfront fruit aromas are backed up by notes of vanilla and the warm perfume of oak. On the palate, this wine offers bright acidity, concentrated dark fruit, and velvety smooth tannins. The finish is long with a hint of minerality at the end.
RELEASING TO CLUB IN SEPTEMBER
Our Snakepit Red shows aromas of voluminous purple fruit, blackberry, and black currant with a hint of caramel, reminiscent of a warm summery berry preserve. On the palate we find blackberry acidity balanced with great structure provided by soft, polished tannins.
Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and baked strawberries jump out of the glass. On the palate, a combination of dark and milk chocolate, vanilla and crème caramel with toasted notes.
WINE CLUB EXCLUSIVE
Offers aromas of concentrated Meyer lemon, honeysuckle, orange blossom honey, and freshly greated ginger. On the palate, we find an intriguing blend of flavors of honey and Bosc pear with a citrus rind finish that is a result of the extra hangtime.
Serve it slightly chilled and see how the flavors and aromas develop as the glass warms.
